Kundiman’s 2026 Postcard Poem Exchange will focus on “Poetry & Movement.” Throughout the month of October, Kundiman Fellows and community members will write and mail postcard poems that respond to this theme.
Poem prompts, photo recaps, and a selection of related readings will be shared on our Instagram throughout October and archived on our website at the conclusion of the project. Join us by writing your own “Poetry & Movement” postcards and sending them out to your family, friends, and community. Share them with us on Instagram (@kundimanforever), or email them to info@kundiman.org.
This is Kundiman’s tenth Postcard Poem Exchange. While we’ve organized this year’s exchange independently, the project has historically been part of the Poetry Coalition’s annual programming centered around a theme of social importance. The Poetry Coalition is a national alliance of more than 30 nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting the value of poets in our daily lives and communities, and Kundiman is proud to be a founding member.
