Announcing: Publishing Panels for Asian American Writers!

We are thrilled to announce our Publishing Panels for Asian American Writers series! Starting this fall, Kundiman will hold a number of online panels that will shed light on the ins and outs of the manuscript-to-print process and offer guidance on navigating the publishing world. Join us to hear directly from industry experts and partake in fruitful discussions!

All Asian American writers of any level of experience can attend these events for free, thanks to Penguin Random House! Please note that these panels are only open to Asian American writers.

We’ll be kicking off the series on Saturday, October 1st, 12:00–1:30pm ET with Part 1: Literary Agents, a moderated conversation between three accomplished literary agents: Ayesha Pande (Ayesha Pande Literary), Jade Wong-Baxter (Frances Goldin Literary Agency), and Wendi Gu (Sanford J. Greenburger Associates).

These virtual events will be held via a Zoom webinar, where they will be recorded and sent to all registered participants, and there will be time for audience Q&A following the conversations. There will also be ASL interpretation by Pro Bono ASL and live captioning by Sign Nexus.

Sign up for the first panel here! More information on the Part 1: Literary Agents panel and future panels can be found here.

We hope to see you there!
