Kundiman creates a space where Asian Americans can explore, through art, the unique challenges that face the new and ever changing diaspora. We see the arts as a tool of empowerment, of education and liberation, and of addressing proactively the legacy we will leave for our future.

Join Kundiman South for a free, virtual group reading to celebrate Gauri Awasthi’s debut poetry collection, Mother Wound . This event will feature readings by Gauri Awasthi, Esther Lin, Ibrahim Badra, and Prashant Pundir, and will include a brief Q&A. It will also help raise funds for a children’s organization in Gaza.
