Thank you for your ongoing support, which has shaped where our organization is now, and where we are heading.
Over the past year and a half, Kundiman’s Board of Trustees and Staff have engaged in a just transition process, fostering equity and care throughout our organization while developing sustainable processes and cultivating leadership that is strongly aligned with our community.
This year, in addition to committing to PACBI, we’ve been finalizing a new three-year strategic plan that prioritizes further embodiment of our values and solidarities. At the heart of this work is a renewed mission statement that is reflective of the breadth and complexity of the AAPI identity.
This wouldn’t have been possible without you. Your participation in our programs, listening sessions, town halls, and surveys has been instrumental in helping us respond to our community’s needs.
Our core programming has been in full swing. We’ve served thousands of writers through our 2026 Readings and Panels, Online Classes, Regional Groups, and Retreat. These programs have provided a nurturing and rigorous space where writers gather to hone their craft while building connections with one another.
What we’ve accomplished this year has shown us the possibilities of literature and the power of community.
If you’d like to sustain Kundiman’s work during this consequential period, please make a one-time contribution, a recurring monthly donation, or increase your usual gift. Our goal is to raise $30,000 from now until December 31st. Thanks to a generous group of donors, every dollar will be matched up to $10,000, meaning your impact will be doubled.
