Bao Phi awarded the Charlotte Zolotow Award

Bao Phi's "A Different Pond" won for best picture book in the country. Illustrated by Thi Bui, it tells the story of a father and son who go on an early morning fishing trip and touches on themes of hard work, racism, immigration, and nature.
