Applications to the 2026 Kundiman Retreat are open from December 15th, 2025 to January 15th, 2026!

The Retreat provides a space for AAPI writers to build community with one another as they forge deeper relationships to their artistic processes and generate new work. It also offers craft classes and mentorship meetings with renowned writers. We’re thrilled to share that there will be six Retreat Faculty members joining us for the 2026 Retreat, including Megan Fernandes, Lee Kava, Lisa Ko, and Madeleine Thien. Stay tuned for our announcement on the full poetry and fiction faculty.

Retreat Dates: June 15th–20th, 2026

Location: Pratt Institute’s Brooklyn Campus in New York City
