Our 2026 Postcard Poem Exchange will begin on October 1st! Throughout the month, Kundiman Fellows and community members will write and mail postcard poems that respond to this year's theme of "Poetry & Movement." Poem prompts, photo recaps, and related readings will be shared on our Instagram.

This is Kundiman’s tenth Postcard Poem Exchange. While we’ve organized this year’s exchange independently, the project has historically been part of the Poetry Coalition’s annual programming centered around a theme of social importance. The Poetry Coalition is a national alliance of more than 30 nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting the value of poets in our daily lives and communities, and Kundiman is proud to be a founding member.
