Kundiman is presenting a Holiday Salon featuring Asha Thanki at Liz’s Book Bar in Brooklyn! The evening will entail a reading from Asha, who will be sharing from her novel A Thousand Times Before. Afterward, join us for a hangout where there will be a chance to write together. Come along to make a new friend or write a community cento for the holidays! Asha Thanki is the author of the novel A Thousand Times Before, winner of the 2025 Balcones Prize and listed as one of the best books of the year by NPR and the Boston Globe. An essayist and fiction writer, Asha is a Kundiman Fellow and received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota.
