The Kundiman Midwest Regional Group is presenting a reading to celebrate the life and poetry of Kundiman Mentorship Lab Fellow and Retreat Fellow Theo LeGro, whose debut poetry collection Don't Let It Kill You will be released in June 2026 from Persea Books.

The memorial reading will be held at Pilsen Community Books in Chicago on Wednesday, June 24th from 7:00 PM CT and will feature Chicago-based writers Helene Achanzar, Temperance Aghamohammadi, Christian Aldana, Julian Randall, Kenyatta Rogers, and Nina Sudhakar.
