We will explore topics like: How should one teach to a cohort with different aesthetic interests and levels of workshop experience? What compact lessons work for poets just meeting each other?

March 1: Deadline to Apply to 2012 Kundiman Book Prize

Apply here.

February 1: Deadline for New Fellow Application to the 2012 Retreat

Apply here.

Soham Patel is a 2011 Omnidawn First/Second Book Contest Finalist

More here!

Cynthia Arrieu-King wins Gatewood Prize from Switchback Books

Congratulations Cindy! More info here.

Tamiko Beyer wins an Alice James 2011 Kinereth Gensler Award for her first book, We Come Elemental.

Dec. 18: Final 2011 Together We Are New York show!

Join Us to Remember and Re-Vision 9/11
