join us for an elegant evening
dedicated to supporting
the next generation of Asian American writers

We are thrilled to honor novelist and poet, Jessica Hagedorn and the 25th anniversary of her ground-breaking novel Dogeaters. With its precise and kaleidoscopic view of Marcos-era Philippine society, Dogeaters has inspired a generation of writers and scholars across the country. We also honor Eva Badowska, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Fordham University. Over the course of seven years, Fordham University and Dean Badowska have provided a home for Kundiman’s Workshop Retreat. We are grateful for her vision and commitment to diversifying American letters.

Provide Kundiman with additional funds to increase capacity, build a stronger retreat, and honor the many hands that have labored to make Kundiman the wonderful
literary community it is today.
